Root, root, root for the home team!

Or the White Sox, IDK, whatevs

Shhhh... confession time. Blondie hates the Yankees. But when the K's came to visit, they brought us a gift - and that was tickets to see the Yankees battle it out against the White Sox! And guess what? Blondie kind of liked the game. Simply because New York fans have got to be some of the most vicious fans in the world - they don't like what you did? You get boo'ed. It doesn't matter if you had hit 5 homeruns in a row, and then had a pop out to left center. That pop out? Gets you a police escort to your car after the game.

A quick 15 min stroll through Times Square (prior to the bomb scare of course) brought us to our train line, and we happened to get the express train, so 15 mins after that, we had arrived in the Bronx.

The stadium was gorgeous - it's brand new this year, and is totally worth every penny they spent on it.

The players taking the field - I think I got a picture of Derek Jeter at bat. But to be honest, I was about 5 beers in at this point, and it could very well be a White Sox player I snapped.

The White Sox won! Another reason to make Blondie happy!

Here we are, enjoying a GORGEOUS NYC day.

Our train back to the hood - delayed, seriously delayed. All we could think is that it was due to the bomb scare. We got out on the UWS, and decided to stroll back and enjoy a thorougly beautiful evening.
